Bovey Castle

Boutique hotel with indoor pool. In the heart of Dartmoor National Park and 15 minutes from the A30, the historic, luxurious Bovey Castle sits high on the valley's edge. It offers a spaand golf course, and free parking. Bovey Castle also won the Gold Award for Large Hotel of the Year from the South West Tourism Excellence Awards 2018-19. The hotel offers activities for young and old, including falconry displays, woodland walks, a large indoor swimming pool, and a wide range of activities on site including a 4x4 off road track, sloe gin making, rifle shooting, clay pigeon shooting and archery. The castle is situated over 3 floors and overlooks peaceful Edwardian gardens, the golf course and the River Bovey. Some bedrooms have wonderful views, and all have facilities for making tea and coffee and a TV. There are two restaurant choices for dining - Smith’s Brasserie offers dishes inspired from the Mediterranean, with spectacular countryside views and a roaring fire pit. The Tasting Room is an intimate dining experience offer a 7 course tasting menu. Bovey Castle also offers a choice of breakfast (not lodge guests) and afternoon tea. Limited evening dining access.
